Liquid History

This piece is inspired by the anaerobic riverbed of the Thames. The mud is able to preserve any object that falls in there and some of the artefacts that wash up on shore are so well kept that they appear as if they were only thrown into the river a couple of days ago. At low tide, the Thames becomes the largest open air archeological site in London.
